FAQS

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabinoid, and is one of many compounds found in the hemp plant. CBD is non-intoxicating, and does not cause a “high” or any “mind altering” effects.

Why Use CBD?

There are many different reasons people choose to add a CBD supplement to their daily regimen. Some people choose to add this for a specific reason, while others take this to enhance their wellness. Whatever your reason may be, taken with consistency, these cannabinoids will build up in your body helping to support its endocannabinoid system. In turn, this can help bring balance to your body and mind.

Is CBD Legal?

CBD is readily obtainable in most parts of the United States, though its exact legal status has been in flux. All 50 states have laws legalizing CBD with varying degrees of restriction. In December 2015, the FDA eased the regulatory requirements to allow researchers to conduct CBD trials. In 2018, the Farm Bill made hemp legal in the United States, making it virtually impossible to keep CBD illegal.

What is the difference between broad- and full-spectrum CBD?

A full-spectrum extract contains all phytochemicals naturally found in the plant, including CBD, trace cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential oils. Full-spectrum extracts from hemp also come with a minimal THC content — below 0.3 percent.

Like full-spectrum CBD, broad-spectrum CBD contains cannabidiol and all the other compounds within the plant. However, it goes through an additional process to remove the trace amounts of THC, completely removing it from a CBD product.

What is the “Entourage Effect”?

The Entourage Effect is the term used to describe the supposed enhanced effects of cannabinoids, such as CBD, when multiple compounds synergistically work together rather than alone. However, the effect has not been scientifically proven yet.

What dosage is appropriate for me?

Everyone is unique and reacts differently to CBD dosage. It is recommended to start with a smaller dose to test your reaction and gradually increase until you experience the desired result.

Are Terev products third-party tested?

All our products are third-party tested for efficacy, purity, and content. We provide Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to show exactly what is in our products. Our products are also USDA certified organic by MOSA, a third-party certifying body that regulates the process.

How should I store Terev products?

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

How do you take a tincture?

Use the dropper and place under your tongue. Hold for 30 seconds to allow full and fast absorption, then swallow. You can also add the tincture to smoothies, drinks, dressings or other foods.

Will CBD make me high?

No. Our hemp is grown from seeds that produce plants that are extremely low in THC and high in CBD. As a result, our CBD products have a THC concentration of less than .3% to meet Federal regulations. This trace amount of THC, when combined with other natural cannabinoids and terpenes found in hemp plants, work together to maximize the efficacy of our products. Please use as directed.
